Dr. Peter Scrivani, a veterinary imaging specialist and professor, needed to show the equine brain and associated meningeal layers, along with depiction of the subdural, epidural, and intracerebral hematomas that affect horses with head trauma. This image allowed visualization of Dr. Scrivani’s clinical commentary on neuroimaging in horses with traumatic brain injury.
